Meet Heather Aal. The woman, the collector, the refinisher and the smart a…aleck who decided that it was time to do something for herself. Now that her kids are grown and out of the house it was time to take something that she loved to do and make it her career.
“Aal Yours Consignments and Refinishing was born from my love of restoring furniture pieces, making them useful in today’s homes and keeping them out of the landfills. While I don’t do upholstery work (my most common repair question) I can fix just about anything made out of wood, making them beautiful again. I’ve always loved antiques and collectibles and spent quite a few years working in that market in Chicago and Dallas. Fargo didn’t really have a place you could sell the items you no longer wanted. I opened the shop and haven’t looked back. We accept consignments by appointment – send me pictures first – and will accept just about anything in very good condition from furniture to home décor, kitchen item, artwork, lamps…you name it. I always have something unique and put new things on the floor almost every day. Stop in and say hi!”
